Certifications
Our plastic SPEEDCOVER® covers are made from 100% virgin polyethylene (PE) FDA ‘approved’ material.
FDA
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is the agency of the United States federal government that, among other things, controls the quality of food in a broad sense. For example, in addition to food products, the FDA also checks manufactured materials used for the responsible covering of food products. Definitions for proper use can be found in a series of regulations published annually under Government Regulations (CFR) 21.
BRC
Due to the fact that SPEEDCOVER® products often come into direct contact with food, we are also certified according to the BRC standard. The British Retail Consortium (BRC) is a British trade association of retailers. The British Retail Consortium has drawn up some standards for food suppliers, such as BRC Food (for food safety) and BRC-IoP for manufacturers of food packaging materials, which also includes SPEEDCOVER®.
Delivering a competitively priced product with a consistently high level of quality is the main objective of SPEEDCOVER®. We monitor this objective from the purchase of raw materials to the delivery of our products to our customers.
